We're used to trailers for movies appearing months
- sometimes over a year - before the film emerges,
but there's a depressing new trend now: trailers
for trailers. Yes, it seems that the release of
a movie trailer is now a major event in itself.
Here's a trailer trailer for the remake of Total
Recall that, as far as I know and hope,
no-one is even vaguely excited about. But you
just know that the more impressionable
will be lining up to wet themselves in excitement
over this FX-laden sneak preview, much as they
did with Prometheus.
By
the time the actual film is released, there will
be nothing left for viewers to anticipate...
