Electric Blue stood at the forefront of British video erotica. Aiming to reproduce the feel of a top shelf magazine on video, early versions mixed soft porn clips with motor racing and other 'male interest' stuff - a mix quickly dropped. The first ten or so volumes are pretty good; after that it began to tail off, and the introduction of BBFC censorship with Vol. 20 effectively killed the series, though it limped on for several more years.
